• Job analysis inputs: job URLs, pasted job descriptions, the role you are applying for, and any notes or messages you submit.
• Platform activity: job interest requests, lead requests, recruiter introductions, placement confirmations, and feedback ratings.
• Technical data: browser type, IP address, device information, and cookies or similar technologies used to keep you signed in and understand how the platform is used.

2. How we use your information

We use your personal information only to provide and improve the Cailin Connex platform, and to communicate with you about your account or activity.

• Generate tailored resume suggestions, gap analyses, and optimised resume documents.
• Match your profile with relevant mining and FIFO job opportunities.
• Facilitate recruiter introductions and job-interest requests when you choose to use those features.
• Send account, security, and transactional emails (such as verification, password reset, and notifications).
• Improve the platform, fix issues, and collect optional feedback.

3. Legal basis for processing

We process your personal information based on the performance of our service contract with you, your consent where required, our legitimate interest in operating and improving the platform, and compliance with legal obligations. • Job data and scraping services: used to retrieve publicly listed job descriptions and details for analysis.
• Payment and email service providers: used to process any paid transactions or send platform emails on our behalf.

Some of these providers may process data outside Australia. We rely on contractual safeguards and standard data-protection measures required by the provider agreements in place at the time.
